Dr. Lester David Miller, MD

I'm suspicious about any glowing, five-star reviews regarding Dr. Miller. Rude beyond belief, dismissive, and very cruel. I hope he's left his practice and is playing golf or something and complaining to his cronies about all those young whippersnapper rheumatologists who think they know so much more than him.

I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus when I was 19. I am 44 now. When I first got my diagnosis I had no idea what I had and how it could change my life. I’m so happy that I came to Dr. Miller. I was treated by him until my arthritis went into remission. It took about a year for that to happen (if I remember correctly). I got married had kids and still feel good. That first year of treatment was very hard for me. I was young and impatient, I wanted my symptoms to go away and the truth is, it was going to take time. I remember telling Dr. Miller that I was tired of taking all the meds and that I didn’t want to take them any more. I had no idea how serious Lupus was back then. He kindly explained that I needed to be patient and that it was so important for me not to stop treatment. Other obstacles came in the way of my treatment but he always encouraged me to keep going. I’m so glad I listened. I have moved away from the area and have never had the… opportunity to say thank you. So I wanted to leave this review for him hoping that he will read it. I had a couple flare ups through the years but that was it. During those flare ups other doctors only prescribed pain meds. It was then that I realized how different my treatment had been with Dr. Miller. He wanted me to live a normal life and not just mask the pain. Dr. Miller thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was able to be a mother, play with my kids, hold them, watch them grow pain free. Thanks to the care I received from you! I hope I can thank you personally one day and introduce you to my family. Thank you for really caring and making a difference for me.

This doctor was SO rude and has no interest in helping patients get better. All he does is talk about other doctors he knows and didn't listen to anything I was telling him or read any of my test results to help with a diagnosis. He spent most of my appointment time insulting me and belittling me for what I had tried to make my disease better. Rude. Rude. Rude.

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Other doctors like him, patients don't. Huge ego, doesn't listen to patient and extremely incompetent.

He was absolutely rude. His staff immediately began snickering about my appearance a beard and tattoos. The woman who took my blood pressure made several rude out of line comments. She was followed shortly after by Miller. He proceeded to tell me that medically the best advice he could give me was to cut my hair shave my beard buy a new wardrobe and invest in a life coach. I am a musician and am currently enrolled full time studying for a degree in astrophysics. I was sent to his office for a second opinion on a diagnosis of fibromyalgia not to be laughed at and treated like trash because I have artwork on my skin.
