Great Doctor! He explained everything very well, the procedure went better than expected. The results have been very good! I am well pleased with Doctor Smucker.

I generally do not leave reviews, eBay sellers and Airbnb hosts are consistently annoyed with me. For Dr. Smucker, I will make this exception because of how impressed I was with him. At first meeting he was very personable, not stuffy or presenting any god complex. However I quickly got the vibe that this man is gifted at what he does. He performed a double hernia surgery (extra large mesh and large) on me using the latest and greatest laparoscopy. Three tiny 1/2 inch incisions that didn't even need stitches and I'm confident won't even scar, and it took him under an hour and a half. I have friends that are rocking 3 inch scars after having half the work I did. My lady who works for a medical malpractice firm had never heard of him (which is great news) insists on going to northwestern in Chicago for surgery because of incompetent doctors in our area. She is just as impressed with him as I am. A true local gem!

Dr. Smucker is truly an amazing doctor. When I was dealing with diverticulitis, he acted quickly to create a plan and perform surgery, which gave me such peace of mind in a very stressful time. What stood out the most was his kindness and compassion—he never rushed, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and made sure all of my questions were answered. I felt cared for not just as a patient, but as a person. I am so grateful for him and highly recommend Dr. Smucker.

Doctor Smucker performed a hernia repair for me at Goshen Hospital. He did it robotically and everything went well. He was very professional and explained everything about the procedure. Definitely recommend. I would also like to give a shout out to all the medical staff at the hospital. I was very surprised at how quick and professional they all were. I checked in at the registration counter and was told to go to 2nd floor and as I entered, they were there waiting for me. Got me all prepped and ready to go. Very impressed.

Dr. Smucker gave a very warm welcome when I arrived in the office. He was thorough in his examination and explained the options clearly. He proceeded with the minor surgery, which was done very successfully. I am grateful for his professional service and personal communication.

Doctor Smucker is an excellent doctor. He has a way of making me feel incredibly informed, my questions and concerns are always heard and addressed and as a result I feel calm and safe. Surgery can be scary but when a doctor takes the time to listen it’s so much easier! Thank you Dr. Smucker!
