Dr. Thomas Wayne Dumas, MD

He removed my impacted earwax so fast and painless compared to two previous ENTs that I was very impressed! He's down-to-earth and explains his findings in understandable terms.

I had gone to 4 other doctors prior to see Dr. Dumas. None of the 4 were close to finding my problem. Dr. Dumas knew the problem within minutes and set up lab test and biopsy to back up his diagnosis Some have said that his bedside manner isn't great but I for one appreciate a doctor that tells you like it is in terms that can't be misunderstood rather than a doctor that is trying to be so nice you're really not sure what the bottom line is. Yes there is some discomfort during some of his exams but to do the exam they way it needs to be done for him to see what he needs to see sometimes discomfort can't be helped. Bottom line is that I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dumas and tell everyone that he's not warm and fuzzy but he knows what he's doing and you'll understand what he tells you.

His bedside manner is terrible. I felt like I was man-handled during my procedure which left me extremely sore. This was the worst physician experience I have ever had.

great doctor.. not enough people to schedule appointments. not enough information given by staff before an operation. but I would not go to anyone else.

Dr. Dumas showed very little interest in my symptoms. He recommended therapy for possible inner ear problem, then never made the referral.

Since my situation is very complex and difficult it is not fair to rate Dr. Dumas by my criteria. He is a very nice man and competent. However, he misses detail due to being in the typical "Doctor Rush." And as always, the devil is in the details.
