She see's patients that she should not be giving recommendations to due to the fact that she is not experienced in that area of Phycology.

The same complain from other , still waiting 1 month later to call back with the results.

She send my husband to hospital, saying that he has a stroke 10 days after his symptoms came "supposedly"hospital have specialize test they can do there but she can't do in her office!!!Only what they did was cat scan, even staff was surprise that she send him to ER because there was no need 10 days later. She was so concern to call right away for ambulance, but not concern enough to even follow up with a patient after ER visit!!!DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR!

I went to Dr Chen for feeling dizzy. When she told me to lay down, I told her my worry of falling down and asked for a hand. She offered it but was unsympathetic. She could have called a nurse if she didn't want to be touched. When I knew the authorization for a CAT scan might take a week, I asked her what to do if I feel dizzy this week. She simply said she can't offer any advice but urged me to call the insurance myself to expedite the authorization. THAT WAS VERY HELPFUL!

Dr. Chen is professional and kind. The office staff is NOT!! They failed numerous times to obtain authorization for me to get an MRI which DR. Chen ordered. I called 5 times and each time they blamed someone else at their own office. They acted as if this was normal. I finally made a formal complaint with Northwell Health. I am forced now to see another doctor about my headaches because this office staff just can't get things done.

While she is pleasant enough and her appointments run on time, don't hold your breath waiting for a call back if you need her in an emergency. She just doesn't care.

Great experience. Was a bit nervous after reading first 2 reviews and before appointment. Pleasantly surprised, so much so, I double checked to confirm we were referring to the same Doctor.

Dr. Chen was one of the most incompetent neurologists I have ever been to. She offered no recommendations, barely listened and billed my insurance $1000 for an office visit which is 2-3 times as much as other neurologists. Her office in glen cove left much to be desired. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Very disappointing experience.
