Dr. Lillian Stevens Iwatsuki, MD

Dr. Iwatsuki has been my son's pediatrician since birth. The only issue I ever had with her was that we butted heads over my son's mental health evaluation--she was convinced he was autistic, I was anticipating ADHD as his father had it (later I learned I do too). Eventually, after seeing different specialists, it was concluded that it was ADHD. She has always been acutely aware of symptoms and readily refers to other specialists when an indepth diagnosis or treatment was needed.

Dr. Iwatsuki started asking us a barrage of questions. She would not look at either one of us just at her computer screen. She was really rather rude and abrasive. She told us that we could not feed our child foods because our child doesn't have any real molars yet. Terrible beside manor. Was rude to my nine year old son also. I can't understand how a medical practitioner thinks it's ok to behave in such a manner. She also sent in a referral without letting us know.
