Dr. Lily S Rocha, MD

Dr. Rocha is a wonderful doctor. If you can stomach the cold unfriendly staff and her bossy nurse who plays doctor, this is the price to pay to see a good doctor. It amazes me the disrespect we have to tolerate in order to see Dr.Rocha. I am a 55 year old woman and her nurse treats me like crude, talks to me like if she was the queen of the med field, schooling me on irrelevant things with an aweful snippy tone and supreme attitude. I was practically told how she likes things done! As if I was there to see her on her dime. Delusional! Every time I need to make an appointment with Dr.Rocha have to think twice due to this.

Dr. Rocha herself is great but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I waited nearly 3 months for a referral. At first I thought the insurance company might be slow at respondng. I finally called Dr. Rocha's office and the staff member flat out lied to me. She told me my insurance had denied the request because the specialist was not on my plan. He was, I already checked ahead of time and if they had rejected it I would have been notified by mail. I know how my insurance works! The next day she called back and told me she'd "talked the insurance company" into allowing me to see that doctor because I had seen him in the past. So, I checked with the insurance company myself - that doctor was always a provider and there was no record of a denial and the only referral request had come in on the day I had called Dr. Rocha's office after the 3 month wait. The after hours answering service people are rude. The minute my insurance changes to MediCare in a few months and I can… choose another doctor I am out of there!!

Rude nurse and staff just does not care. Doctor only spent less then 5 minutes with me . Will never go back .

My whole family has been going to Dr. Rocha for 13 years now. My kids will go to her to! She is awesome and listens to everything and really cares. Staff can be unfriendly on days but, for the most part are great as well. I love Dr. Rocha!!!!

the office staff is unprofessional and incompetent. They do not follow thru with what they are required to do in regards to calling in prescriptions and sending referrals. Dr. Rocha is wonderful.
