Dr. Lin Soe, MD

We would like to thank Dr. Soe for his on going caring and treatment of my stage 4 Ovarian cancer. He always takes the time to listen to us about our concerns. He always looks for new ways and chemo drugs to fight this nasty cancer. He has looked for clinical trials to try but got turned down by them. Without Dr Soe's help, after being given 6 months to live by the hospital, I feel I would not be here 3 1/2 years later. And the office staff and all the nurses do a wonderful job. I

Dr. Soe is amazing! I had Stage 3 Breast cancer. I am now three years NED. Dr. Soe helped me fight my battle for the last three years. I wouldn't be here without his knowledge. I was diagnosed at 28 years old with a highly aggressive breast cancer. From the first visit to the last treatment Dr. Soe has been a source of wisdom, kindness, and inspiration. He knew I could beat this and I have. I would highly recommend Dr. Soe to anyone facing a cancer diagnoses. He is up to date on the latest treatment options, and does not hesitate to attack the cancer as aggressively as possible. Dr. Soe listens to your concerns, and monitors your health closely while on treatment. I felt I was in very experienced hands throughout my treatment. Without a doubt Dr. Soe knows how to fight cancer. His staff is wonderful and reassuring. Marshall is small facility with a big heart. Thank You Dr. Soe, you saved my life!

Dr Soe did a great job with my mom when she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. He gave us many options and steered us toward hormone therapy, which was successful. Like all stage 4 cancers, it's not if but when. My mom has made it 4 years now and is 84. Dr Soe is very professional which could be perceived as matter of fact but in reality he really cares about his patients and is looking out for their best interest.

Prescribes obsolete cancer medications and is not knowledgeable about the newer and more effective ones. I have to find the medical journal and clinical trial articles myself to show him why he should prescribe them for me. Even then he won't prescribe them because they usually aren't yet FDA approved...but then he fails to inform me or admit that the obsolete cancer medications he like to prescribe (e.g. hydroxyurea and busulifan) aren't FDA approved either!

After my initial visit Dr. Soe I was impressed with his apparent knowledge and he seemed nice. Subsequently as treatment got underway, more and more I was treated with a condescending attitude whenever I tried to clarify what to expect from the chemotherapy. He said he will not discuss or debate the procedure, and I must choose too basically take it or leave it. He does not return any phone calls, any calls to his office will only be responded to at the end of the day; if someone remembers. He does not communicate in a timely manner with the online medical database, or his patients. If I had not already started the treatments I would definitely find another doctor!
