Dr. Lina Pilshchik, DO

Going for an annual check up was fine, quick and to the point. When I needed to get my mammography results it turned in to a nightmare. On the first call the recpetionist said, "I have a pile of faxes here and I don't have time to look at them and even if I did, the doctor has appointments til 7 and doesn't have time to speak to you." I told her I was concerned about the results and would really like a call back. It didn't happen. 24 hours later, I wrote an email to the office and left a voicemail. Still got no response. Called just now and was told by the receptionist, "Your results are here but the doctor has not looked at them yet so technically, there are no results to give you." I asked what was taking so long to review them and she said, "The doctor is 38 weeks pregnant." I persisted and pleaded for the results to be given to me and the receptionist came back on the line and said, "Ma'am, I am going to read to you verbatim what your results are." She rattled off the technical… verbiage from the radiologist and said nothing else. I asked, "So just to be clear, the doctor is not going to be speaking to me about the results?" The receptionist said, "I just read them to you." This office should clearly not be taking on patients and clearly needs some organization and some customer service skills to be taught from the top down. If you're unable to handle the workload, don't take on new patients and don't let your front desk be nasty to those new patients you have no time to deal with. We'll gladly go somewhere else.

I find it annoying when a doctor orders $1,000 worth of tests all of which come out normal without informing the patient that these tests will be so costly. This doctor should have a vague idea of the cost of the tests they are administering.

Dr. Pilchik is a compassionate professional. Her staff has been super helpful. She expresses her concern and listens carefully to mine. Her bedside manner is exceptional

I had one of the worst experiences I think I have ever had in my life with Dr Pilshchik at Innovative Healthcare Physicians. It has taken me a long time to write this review as I am not big on bad complainy reviews however I got to thinking that this could happen to someone else. I went to her for a routine check-up and some tests done. Something I usually do once a year. They told me that the results would be available online after two weeks. 3 weeks went by and no results. I called the office and asked them what was going on. they told me things had been disorganized and they got rid of the person who was in charge of maintaining the test results so things got a little mixed up but that they would try to locate my test results and call me if something was amiss. Another week goes by no phone call (which is usually a good sign). I called them back just to make sure and asked them to follow up with my results and what happened next chilled me to the core. They told me something… was wrong and that they couldn't tell me over the phone I would have to come in to see Dr. Pilshchik. I asked if I could come in right then and they told me nothing was available for a week. They actually expected me to wait a week knowing something is wrong...I decided to go there anyway and try to see the doctor to get to the bottom of it. After basically telling the office she HAD to see me that day I finally got in. She told me I had an uncurable STD a bad one. I stared at her in disbelief and cried. She sat there coldly and watched me cry, didn't give me any information about it and offered no consultation whatsoever. I asked her if it was possible that there had been a mistake with their lab she said it was not at all possible. I left knowing I had to call past partners to let them know, that my life was going to be different forever. They were hard calls to make. For the next 8 months of my life I was depressed and confused, I couldn't eat sleep or think straight let alone begin to date anyone. I finally decided to get a second opinion and guess what I DIDN'T HAVE THE STD! after seeing three more doctors all confirming that I didn't have any STD whatsoever. I had one of the doctors call Dr. Pilshchik's office and explain the situation, they told my new doctor that they probably mixed up the lab results. Some poor person out there has the STD and probably doesn't know while I suffered all the mental woes of someone who did. To sum it up: Dr. Pilshchik and her staff mis-diagnosed me with an uncurable disease. I will never get that year of my life back. I find them to be terrible. Do not go there. Sorry for the long rant whew! I feel better writing it all down.

there is a reason her reviews are awful- Dr. Pilshchik is hands down the worst doctor ive ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LITERALLY WANT TO HAVE A DOCTOR ROLL HER EYES AT YOU AND HAVE HER NURSE HANG UP ON YOU MID SENTENCE. i bet money that any decent review she has anywhere online was actually given by someone who works for her in her office. save your time and money and DO NOT GO TO DR PILSCHIK.

The doctor was cold, uncaring and neglected to mention a few essential bits of knowledge that I found out later from another doctor. Never again.

Dr. Pilshchik is a terrible OBGYN. She's clueless and she doesn't even bother looking at her file before you come in so she knows who she's dealing with! On the 3rd visit (all within 1 month), she was still introducing herself and saying that she was nice to meet me! She could have had a look at her file. She actually does look at her file, while you're in her office, staring at her computer screen, not looking at you whatsoever. She won't even call you to give you the results of your test, leaving you anxious and nervous about important tests you went through. Went you call the office to find out the secretary tells you that the results will be discussed on your next visit, in 4 weeks! She doesn't understand how nerve wrecking it is to wait for test if you've had a bad pregnancy history. She can careless. She's absolutely awful. I would not recommend her to anyone!
