Dr. Linda Dandrea Barrasse, MD

Dr Barrasse saved my life after two other cardiologists told me that I was "fine, just need a statin to lower cholesterol". She ordered extensive testing because of fatigue which she said could be a symptom in women! I had a 95% blockage in a main artery. I am forever grateful to Dr Barrasse. I appreciate her straight-forward, honest communication.

She is a decent doctor but, in my opinion, has a weird personality. In my opinion, some days she's nice and other days she's mean and condescending. That was my observation.

She's an elderly homely looking lady she should get her licensed pulled. Never had so much hate for someone. Whoever writes her good reviews must be family or friends because she's a worthless piece of trash. Like she looks 80 ? When is she retiring.

Dr. Barrasse an extremely skilled cardiologist. Very knowledgeable, clearly explained all my test results, answered all my questions and gave me straightforward advice to better my health. She fought my insurance company to get an expensive med approved. Dr. Barrasse and her team are truly in your corner.

Dr. Barrasse is a first rate Cardiologist and true professional. Her reputation (both in Scranton & later in Philadelphia PA) is exemplary. I'm grateful to have been referred to her for care.

The lady is garbage. She talks down to people horribly. I was only in my 20s when I went to her not knowing what to expect. She told me “no wonder why people don’t want to be around you”because I was so nervous. First of all I was 26 years old ! Of course I was nervous! Ever since then I heard nothing but bad reviews and words about her and from my own experience I am just putting this out there for people needing to pick a heart dr. DO NOT request her ! I cannot stress this enough.

Linda has never let me down. If she has an idea for what is best for me she lets me know. It has always worked out.

I was a patient of hers in past,I left in 2008.went to another DR for second opinion in Philly,I have a pacemaker now since 2013,I was having syncope,my PCP found it with a event monitor he ORDERED ,I went into a 3rd degree heart block.I needed F/U on my pacer,I contacted The Group Great Valley Cardiology,was told they would have to clear it with Dr Barrasse first ,since I left in 2008.I saw Dr Geyfman(in that practice)he saw me once last year,but did pacer checks twice and was to have another in 9/9/16. Last week I was called given an appointment to see Dr Barrasse on 7/22/16. I went. She came in did not examine me,stood there saying the most 'unprofessional,unethical things I ever heard a DR say to a heart patient seeking help. She told me I would have NEVER agreed to see you tried to say she did not recognize 'the name'she had my records in front of her because she kept quoting date I left her,baddgering me on WHY???? Upset me to the point of tears and hives and palpatations, It… appears she only wanted to see me to do this to me. I was a nurse for 30 years,I said who will follow my pacer,? She said maybe Geyfman,if "SHE"spoke with him.I HAD him already,I never asked to see her. THERE office called me told me to come in 7/22/16 to see her. I had also written her a note last year thanking her for allowing Dr Geyfman to see me,because I was told when I called last year THEY DO NOT USUALLY TAKE a Patient in that office another DR saw in the past. So I now know if you do not care for 1 DR the REST shun you in that group. VERY sad when a patient can not pick her own DR.

Dr. Baresse is a very rude person. I am a nurse and I had to call her to verify an order and she was very condescending and very rude. I guess she doesn't care if they get the right med or treatment. I would never personally use her as my doctor or recommend her to anyone. Don't pay attention to the rating it made me pick at least one star, she doesn't deserve any.

I went to Hershey to get fixed, I had 3 stress tests since 2006 locally and found out at Hershey that they showed an abnormality in my heart and was never told about it. Hershey read the tests from 2006 forward. Now I feel great.
