Dr. Linda Diana Bosserman, MD

I last met with Dr Bosserman 1995. She pretty much told me to get my life in order because I had 2 years to live. My breast cancer had metastasized. And it was not necessarily to get chemo. Tand on my chatty she put down that I was in denial. Today is 10-27-2020 and I'm still alive and well.

My wife was treated like 'another number'. If she represents City of Hope then I have lost faith with COH. I would stay away from her and her disconnected team.

She has been my oncologist for 10 years and she is awesome.

Dr Bosserman originally saw me for breast cancer. She recommended a lumpectomy and radiation. I got a breast infection after the radiation. When I waited 3 hours to see her as I had a fever and my breast was on fire , I was shocked when she said she could not help me . She sent me back to my family doctor who then sent me back to Dr Bosserman. I was in so much discomfort and pain. She said it didn't look infected yet my skin was hot, I had a fever, my skin itched and the pain kept me awake all night. When I asked if she would please look up what would be causing so many problems, she coldly turned to me and said," I simply don't have time !" So I left and never returned, did my own research and noticed another medicine was interfering with the antibiotic. As soon as I stopped the other medication, the antibiotic finally cleared up the infection!!! I was in pain without sleep for 3 miserable months. She clearly has no compassion and is in the wrong field! I wouldn't even send my dog to… her. I had an extremely poor experience in her office!!

Dr Bosserman is very busy but when she does spend time with the patient she has a way of instilling faith and confidence that does wonder for the patient's mental state not to mention physical state. I suppose that is why she is so busy. She certainly knows her subject matter.

After initial visit to define treatment, Dr Bosserman has a staff nurse with little experience see you. When you do request to see the Dr, she is abrupt and her demeanor makes it clear that she is too busy to be spending time with you. I could not recommend her.

Dr. Bosserman was great.then the follow-up. You don't get to see her, instead you see a nurse practitioner who doesn't even read your chart before entering the exam room. she asks inappropriate questions to your condition and doesn't respond to the mandantory 3 pages you fill out on how you are feeling and what you would like addressed at the appointment.Your emotional well being after being diagnosed with cancer and going through treatment is as important as the surgery itself and this office totally misses the mark. It is cold, unfeeling and lacks care, concern, empathy etc. I was deeply disappointment that I am looking for another place to continue my follow-up care.

Cancer is one of the most frightening things to happen to a person, the staff is nice but I don't feel that Dr Bosserman pays any at attention as she always has someone else see me, I do not know if they are NP or PA but it as routine as cattle going through to be given shots. I worry about the OTHER breat and the odd pains here and there and it is sort of brushed off. I don't know any other good Cancer DR but I am checking around.

She could not even bother reading a PET scan she ordered, resulting in 12 hours of extreme pain for my wife and three days in the hospital. She almost ended up with a bag for life, all because THE dr and her staff could not be bothered. My wife asked point blank, does the scan show a problem with the kidney. The PA (Dr couldn't be troubled to meet with us) looked her in the eye and said the scan did not show that. Four days later, she is in the ER due to her kidney being blocked. The worst part, when we got a copy of the scan results, it clearly said the kidney was being blocked. The DR and PA NEVER EVEN READ THE SCAN.

After waiting over ninety minutes the PA comes in and tells me the doctor went to another patient who had to leave. So because we waited patiently we didn't get seen. How wrong is that! But get used to it with this Dr. You are lucky to ever see her. With cancer you have so many questions but will never get answers here.
