I had trans flap reconstruction surgery 2 1/2 years ago after breast cancer. I would have been much better off to have stopped with the mastectomy.I'm still in much discomfort that I was assured would subside with the healing process- left with bloating of the stomach, nerve damage to the point of having to wear compression underwear to calm the feeling of an open wound which is about the only way I can describe it - I still feel very raw and unhealed and fairly severe back pain that was never explained as a side effect. I still have to wear certain bras in addition to stuffing them just to make my breasts match and for clothes to fit properly - I was doing this after the mastectomy with NO discomfort whatsoever and wish every single day that I would have left things right there. The reconstructed breast is still not right, looks horrid and also the source of discomfort - I look like the bride of Frankenstein! I have had to have a couple of procedures and surgeries after the fact to… remedy certain issues that were thought to be the cause of the discomfort but nothing has helped.....both instances cost a lot of money out of my own pocket and I still feel no better. Dr. Camp was only interested in me when I could talk to other potential patients in hopes to "sell" this reconstruction procedure in the beginning when I was extremely positive and excited about doing it - little did I know what disappointing results on top of the discomfort that I would be left with and I have no idea to know if any of these results are dangerous. My hopes were high and she thought that this procedure was the one for me - but surely something went amiss or this wouldn't even be made available to people. It has turned out to be the worst decision I've ever made and I wish I knew how to get some relief. Once it was learned that I had no interest nor money for further cosmetic surgeries to enhance this mess, I haven't heard a word from her office. I have no idea what kind of issues this may cause in the future as I age nor how to detect even more dangerous problems...I just know that I haven't felt normal since the procedure was done yet I am unable to afford pursuing other options or corrections for my apparent permanent state which has taken its toll. I hope this review keeps someone else from going thru what I am still going thru with no hope to fix it.

her work is perfection. dr camp and her staff made me feel like i was her own daughter. they made me comfortable and happy. i love his lady. she genuinely cares about her patient. on a scale from 1 to 10 she is a 100. you dont have to worry about having a flawed procedure. she will get it right and you will love the results.

Dr. Linda Camp is an EXCEPTIONAL doctor who cares about her patients. She is easy to talk to and knows how to put her patients as ease no matter the situation. I would definately recommend Dr. Linda Camp to anyone looking for a reconstruction surgeon.
