Dr. Linda Maynard, MD

She is wasting eveyones time by not updating her status with the insurance companies. She hasn’t been accepting new patients for the past two years. Why can’t she just take her name off the doctors availability list. Then to top it off they dont open until 11am and if you call at 11:15 they dont even answer the phone. Just another mickey mouse operation.

Dr. Maynard takes the time to listen which is very rare today. She is quick to hone in on any issues you might have. She carefully gives you all options for treatment and the pros and cons of each option. She very much makes the patient feel that treatment is a team approach between the doctor and patient. This leads to much more open communication and satisfaction.

she is an excellent doctor,very intelligent,open to your suggestions,gives you all the time you need without rushing you,very wise about meds. i am a nurse in sarasota and i think she is a better doctor than anyone else in this area and all the so-called doctors in sarasota could definitely learn a thing or two from her. i have went to many female doctors in sarasota over the last 15 years and have been very disappointed mainly with intellect and bed side manners but i finally have found the perfect combination in a doctor. i also love her husband steve,it is a very relaxed environment. hope you like them as well as i do.

I do love Dr. Maynard. She is extremely thorough, well versed and very knowledgeable. The only problem I have is the cost of an office visit. As a long term patient, I expected that perhaps I would be afforded the opportunity to see my doctor due to chronic health problems. However, once I lost my insurance, I've lost Dr. Maynard. The out of pocket cost for an office visit is prohibitive and she refuses to refill prescriptions for chronic conditions without an office visit. I can understand her position, but at least make the appointment a little more financially reasonable.

Outstanding physician

Have been looking for a "good" Dr. that can handle all my meds and med. problems.Was referred to Dr. Maynard by another DrShe was everything I hoped for. She's very intelligent, can tell she's an excellent Dr. Very caring. She "listens"She is very through. My husband and I were very much impressed with her. We covered everything and had a few laughs.I feel fortunate to have found her. First visit but I feel strongly all the good things will continue. No 5 minute cattle call at this office.

Dr. Maynard is a wonderful teacher. She explains things in an understandable way & treats you like an intelligent being. Although she has a busy schedule, she never hurries you & is glad to answer all questions. She goes over test results with you item by item & doesn't leave you wondering about anything. She's intelligent, perceptive, & has a great bedside manner. We interviewed her when we were contemplating changing doctors & she answered all our questions to our satisfaction. She's open minded about complementary medicine, which was an important quality to us. We would highly recommend her as a primary physician.
