Dr. Linda Lauree Schicker, MD

Dr Schicker is an amazing, caring, thorough, wonderful radiation oncologist! She is treating my Mom who is 83 years old for tonsil cancer. My Mom who is typically resistant to medical treatment because of past experiences with physicians, tells me daily how compassionate and caring Dr Schicker is as an individual, she trust her 100% with her care because she takes the time to listen to her concerns and treats her ailments and monitors her progress thoroughly. She has Lisa who works with her who is equally as stellar a person! Lisa never misses a beat calling and informing My Mom and I on her progress and needs. Lisa is continually helping my Mom with her nutritional needs as well as her radiation site wound care. She also helped with finding transportation to and from the office so my Mom could receive her daily treatments. I live out of state from my Mom, and having these absolutely wonderful people caring for my Mom was so reassuring I can't even put into words the gratitude we… have for them! They truly were my Mom's family especially in a time of great need during this Covid pandemic. I can't thank them enough for their continued help, support and service they provide my Mom. I am also a recent head/neck cancer survivor and was treated at MSK in NYC and can attest that the experience I had pales in comparison to the the excellent care and services Dr Schicker and her staff offered and delivered to my Mom. I highly recommend anyone trying to navigate the unknown for a family member or loved one in need of radiation to see Dr Schicker. She truly personalizes each patient's needs and care with the utmost professionalism and delivers exceptional treatment. Thank you doesn't seem adequate for what they have done for our family...Thank you Dr Schicker, Lisa, and staff for your giving the best care to my Mom <3
