Dr. Linda Maciel Silveira, MD

I made an appointment about a month ago and today (5 hours before my appointment time) I received a call stating that she does not take my insurance and I have to see another provider. Why wasnt that told to me when I ASKED during my initial call?

Many years of many doctors in different states. Not letting this one go! An exceptional lady who treats you like family. Her knowledge, expertise, and commitment to patients has me leaving with a smile every time. I know I am in good hands and my overall health has improved like it never had before under her guidance.

Dr Silveira has been our family doctor for almost 10 years and by far the best doctor I have known. How many doctors do you know who truly fit the characterization of a family doctor? One who really listens and partners with you to solve sometimes difficult problems? She is compassionate and a problem solver. I gladly recommend her to anyone who wants a doctor who really cares and has an intellectual, thoughtful approach to medicine and healing.

Dr. Silviera and her staff run a well organized operation. She is compassionate and listens well. Robin, her assistant, is warm and caring and they both are very thorough. I have a friend who was seriously ill and did not have a primary care physician. I referred her to Dr. Silviera and she was both impressed and comforted by the care she received.

Exceptional in all regards

I am the caretaker live â?? in daughter of my mother who has been a patient of Dr. Silveira for around 10 years. Dr Silveira has always panicked over my mother's heart condition and finally sent us to the Heart Clinic with St. Francis where they have taught me in great detail how to help control my mothers congestive heart failure on a daily basis through the entire year of 2015. She is now doing extremely well with this daily care I have given her with amazing help from the Clinic. After telling her that my mother's blood pressure can dip quite low, DR SILVEIRA BECAME ANGRY/AGITATED and did literally say " why didn't you call me! I am her general practitioner!". I explained that if I did that, I would be calling her twice a day every day 24/7/365 and that I call the Clinic. She then said, in front of my mother " you are killin your mother" (this program would not allow me to properly spell the word " Killin") It was her word, not mine. She did yell at me for not telling… her about the Heart Clinic, which she DID refer us to. She has changed drastically over the past year. Too much ego/pride and fuzzy thinking.....plus added rudeness. We do not trust her care any longer. P.S: Along with myself, My sister meant to rate Dr. Silveira a 1 Star (unfortunately).

My elderly mother has been a patient for about 10 yrs. She Has heart problems for which Dr. Silverado sent her to a heart clicnic for management, then forgets that she has done so and berates my mothers caregiver-daughter for making medication changes based on the heart clinic's direction. In front of my mother, she tell my sister caregiver " you are killin your mother". This was totally inappropriate and extremely upsetting. Other incidences were equally upsetting but dismissed. Dr. Silverado needs to take a step back, possibly go part time or retire...she appears progressively more burned out. We will be looking for a different provider.

my 90 year old mother is a patient of Dr. Silveria's mom is terrified of doctors but Dr. Silveria puts her at ease and she trusts the doctor. She takes the time to talk to her about what is going on and helps ease her concerns.

Dr Silviera is a kind, gentle person, and takes time to listen to her patients. She is so knowledgable that I trust her completely, and it is obvious that her patient's best interest is always her priority. I recommend Dr Silviera to anyone who wants the best doctor they can get, and wants to be treated as a friend, not a number. She is simply The Best.

After being a patient in this office for almost 10 years, I find it to be very incompetent office, always losing reports and messing up lab orders. The wait times are horrible and waiting on the doctor in the room is another 30 minutes! They are more worried about typing stuff into the computer than they are to looking you in the face and being concerned. CHANGING DOCTOR And Group entirley !
