Seems off. Not sure what is going on there- but very odd. Do not recommend.

Had my first appointment today and left very happy with my two boys!

It is shocking how Advocate, such a great company, employs Dr. Vassmer. She is rude, full of sarcasm, unprofessional, and she gets very personal. She does not enjoy parents' questions at all. In fact, she will answer your question(s) with another question(s) and she will confuse you even more. If she does not like you or your child, she will show it by being very cold and unfriendly with your child and by belittling you. Even more, she will diagnose your child problematic within a few seconds she looks at your child. She will turn your doctor visit into a very unpleasant and painful experience. If you love your child and respect yourself, Dr. Vassmer is not the right doctor for you.

She is a very impatient pediatrician. Not given to explaining her diagnosis. She was brusque and rude when I brought my baby to see her. I was really shocked by attitude. Decided to just let her say her piece and get out of her office. NEVER SEEING THIS RUDE PERSON AGAIN

It's a busy practice so sometimes you do have to wait but Dr. Vassmer is wonderful and my daughter loves her. She has been our pediatrician for almost 10 years. She is great with younger kids and teens, has a great bed side manner and is very easy going. She doesn't talk down to you and takes the time to answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr Vassmer!
