She continued her medical schooling at Emory University School of Medicine and obtained her Medical Doctrine in 1995. Dr. Winders completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Emory University associated hospitals in 1998 and became Board certified in 1999. Her accomplishments and awards are second to none. She received the highest training exam board score in Residency in 1997, she received a Pediatric Resident Teaching Award in 1996, she was Magna Cum Laud with her Biology senior honor thesis, Mortar Board Senior Honor Society 1990, and she was on the Deans list and was V.P. of Psi Chi, Psychology National Honor Society. Dr. Winders is married and enjoys spending time with her family.
