Didn't listen, too emotional . I expect doctors to help, problem solve etc. Not the case on my visit.

This Doctor is more interested in saving your life than reviews. She’s a pitbull and disease is her rope. If you are reading this than you’re researching. Feel free to contact me for all the details, but just be settled knowing you’re in the best hands. Every other specialty doctor said, oh good, you have Busciglio. Enough said.

Because of an emergency in my family, I missed my appointment for my daily antibiotic infusion. Felicia, the nurse on call told me there was nothing she can do about it and advised skipping the treatment or go to the ER. At the ER the triage nurse said the pharmacy was closed and I would have to be admitted to get the antibiotic and recommended to call back to the office and ask to speak to the Dr in charge, Dr. Busciglio. Once again I called the answering service to page the nurse; I called THREE times before she returned my call. I explained the ER recommendations and asked her to confirm HER recommendations to skip the treatment assuming that she had reviewed my medical history before doing so. She told me I could go at 8 am the next day. Because she sounded annoyed by my enquire she offered to have Dr. Busciglio call me back (which I had suggested several times before). Because I’m a Dr. myself I felt this was the appropriate thing to do. After waiting more than an hour… for this Dr to call, my husband called the answering service to find out, to our surprise, that they found a note that Dr. Busciglio recommended skipping the treatment. Neither the nurse, the Dr in charge or the answering service called to relay this. I had shared with Dr. Flores that I would drive 45’ every day to have this treatment done at this clinic because I felt that a practice with so many Drs. and staff will support me in any eventuality. She agreed. I feel that Felicia manipulated the conversation, was very arrogant and unprofessional and Dr. Busciglio showed absolutely no interest and a total disregard for my case.

After waiting 3 months to see this doctor at this location, and confirming my appointment twice three days prior, I was told when I arrived for my appointment, that it had been cancelled without my knowledge, by Carl at the Wesly Chapel Office because I didn’t need the appointment. I have been dealing with infections for 2 years and was referred by my primary care physician. It is normal to get left on hold for half an hour minimum at a time. Prior to some surgical procedures I needed to have done, I called Dr Noel in Wesley Chapel, who I made clear I was seeing until I could get in to see dr Busciglio, and tried her for two weeks, with not one single returned call by Dr Noel or any of her staff....and I was calling daily! Stay away from this office! I have never in my life experienced such poor, uncaring, inexperienced, ineffective staff or physicians as I have at this group. I am still having infections and am still working with my PC dr to find another. They should be ashamed of… themselves for their lack of care, compassion, or professionalism.

The staff was quick, efficient and friendly. Doctor Busciglio was on time, professional and caring. Maybe others have found her late because she gives the patient as much time and attention as he/she needs.
