Dr. Lindie Kaye Borton, MD

Do not see this person who calls herself a doctor. This lady is a quack. Lindie Borton is unprofessional, rude, and awful. The staff is just as bad. I wound not recommend to anyone.

Believe the bad reviews. Dr.Borton is all about the money and is not nice to people.

This is the most arrogant, rude and nasty doctor I have ever been to. The good reviews are most likely from friends, family or the cosmetic patients shelling out $$$ to their faces shot up with Botox. LOL if you are going to this doctor for medical purposes, I recommend you keep right on looking and find a doctor that will treat you as a valuable person and patient if you aren't paying big bucks for her cosmetic garbage.

She's a brilliant doctor and is so right-on with her diagnostic reviews. She has saved many people and also made alot of people beautiful! I highly recommend her and her wonderful skills!

I went for skin cancer screen. She spent 2 minutes looking me over with some garments still on. Then spent 30 pushing procedures and products. I never said I was unhappy with my skin. I had only said I had a history of skin cancer in my family and wanted a skin cancer exam.

Read all of her reviews, the bad ones are on the money and the good ones are probably posted by family and friends. She is nasty, rude, arrogant and condescending. I too was "dismissed" as a patient and I have had wonderful relationships with all of my doctors throughout my life! I have never experienced anything like this. I think that as soon as she realizes you aren't interested in her expensive cosmetics and procedures she loses interest because you aren't spelling out $$$$.

I wish I had checked yelp before going to Dr. Borton! She is arrogant, confrontational and has terrible patient-doctor service. I am also new to Boise and was looking for a dermatologist to help me with skin irritation (allergies) around my eyes. I appreciated Dr. Borton's straight-forward attitude and no-nonsense approach so much after my first visit that I actually recommended her to a friend of mine (I took back the recommendation!). During my first visit I also expressed concern over general skin care, but she said we would have to wait for my eyes to clear up before addressing other questions. In the meantime she gave me samples of her product to try. My skin cleared up over the next month. I waited an additional month just to be sure the steroids I had been taking for the reaction were completely out of my system, as recommended by Dr. Borton. So, after all was clear, I returned for a second appointment with questions about general skin care and product. Dr. Borton… somehow misunderstood my request for a second appointment, thinking I was upset or unhappy with her general recommendations for skin product from the first appointment. She laid into me telling me that 'she was frustrated with me'. I stopped her and said I'm sorry if she misunderstood -- I just had questions about skin care - and that she told me to come back in when my skin allergies cleared up. She snapped back that she gave me recommendations and samples last time. I told her I liked a couple but was curious as to the differences and which was best given that I couldn't afford all of the product (it is very expensive!). She answered the question but with a nasty and irritable tone. I then asked for a sunscreen recommendation because the sunscreen they sell in their office is $80 a bottle (!!). She refused to recommend a cheaper option, saying she could only recommend her product. At that point I decided she was more concerned with selling her expensive product than patient care (she hadn't actually examined me this time -- she just came in, sat down across the room from me and started telling me off). In the end I didn't buy anything from her. A couple days later I received a letter in the mail saying she was no longer able and willing to provide service... as if I'd go back after that! I am not interested in Dr. Borton's product nor her pride. I recommend that you DO NOT go to this doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Borton for two years and she is kind, professional, up to date, experienced and has helped me with my sensitive skin issues. Her staff is well educated and highly trained. Her equipment is the latest in the field and well researched. I have no idea what some of these reviews are talking about.

I can not believe the bad reviews this Dr. has received. I have had melanoma and she was more thorough then any of my other Doctors She took pictures and measurements of every dot on me! I found her to be kind, direct, honest, and took as much time as I needed to ask all my questions. Her staff is wonderful. I would send any of my friends, or loved ones to her. I have complete trust in her.
