Dr. Tart did not listen when I brought in my son with a high fever after having cold symptoms for a week. I knew he had an ear infection or other infection causing the new fever and she told me he was fine and he was now battling a new virus. This was about 11 pm after waiting 2 hours in urgent care to be seen. The next morning at 5 am my 4 year old woke up screaming in pain complaining of his ear. I took him back to the same urgent care and was seen by a different, much more thorough provider who confirmed my sons ear was severely infected and full of puss. Oddly enough I saw Dr. Rare again this evening for my older son in regards to a high fever after 10 days of ongoing cold symptoms. Tonight she also told me the fever was unrelated and he was battling a new virus. I was sure to mention she was wrong the last time and made it clear I did not trust her assessment. We will no longer be using the urgent care she employs.
