Lindsey Abeyta, FNP-C

Lindsey Abeyta, FNP-C, is a provider that takes
pride in caring for and educating her patients.
She commits to using a “combination of empathy,
education and effective communication to
empower individuals and communities to manage
their health, prevent illness, and maintain balance
in their lives.”
For the past 12 years, Lindsey’s work as a
registered nurse has helped her become the
provider she is today. By caring for the pediatric
population in the emergency room, helping
manage care for children and adults with
chronic illness and facilitating care for children
and adults during mental health crises, Lindsey
has fostered an appreciation for assessing and
treating an individual’s physical, emotional, mental
and spiritual well-being. She especially believes
in the importance of being an active listener
and effective communicator to build a trusting
relationship with her patients.
Lindsey is a Tucson native that has served the
Southern Arizona community for the past 20
years. She …holds a B.S. in Elementary Education
with an emphasis in Special Education from
Northern Arizona University, an associate’s degree
in nursing through Pima Community College,
and a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse
Practitioner from Grand Canyon University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with
her family, exercising, reading and watching her
two sons play sports.
