Dr. Lindy Sue Griffin, DO

Beware: this place is a SCAM. I wish I have seen the google reviews before scheduling my USCIS exams with this doctor, so I hope this review can help others not to go through the same issues I had. I've been to Dr. Griffin's office for my USCIS a few months ago, after searching on USCIS portal what was the licensed doctor closest to my house, and had the worst treatment possible: the nurse that collected my blood obviously did not know what he was doing, because he kept digging my arm with the needle with no success (I never had any issue doing blood tests in my whole life before or after that, my veins are absurdly visible), then goes to the other arm and does the same. I never feel pain while collecting blood, but this time I felt like I was going to faint. After the initial torture, he came and gave me some vaccines and he also did not know how to do it, because he put the needle almost in the top of my shoulder and push it all its content at once. The pain lasted a week and I had… inflammation on that spot (did I mention I never had anything like this before, also?). BONUS: the nurse put on gloves and then goes directly to the trash bin and then wants to touch you wearing the same gloves. After that, you get in underwear on a small room, and if you're in a group, everybody has to take off the clothes and wait together on the same room for the doctor to see you. That wasn't even the worst part of it. I left the office very upset and angry, but thinking at least it was over. After that, you wait for a week to get your results in a sealed envelope. Let me tell you: I paid around US$600 in cash for this, and some more was taken on my health insurance. I got the envelope, then I had my appointment at USCIS. All right from my part. Two days later, I receive a letter from USCIS saying I had to do my exams and documents again with another doctor, once Dr. Griffin's license was expired the day she signed my documents, and until they had an opportunity to review exams signed by a different licensed doctor, my process would be delayed. When I reached out to the Dr.'s office, they told me it was not their fault, and gave me a copy of her renewed license to send USCIS (as if! My process would be denied instantaneously). They refused to reimburse me (any amount) for what happened. The only thing they did was to send a copy of their renewed license to USCIS so they could keep taking patients for this kind of exams ($$$$). I had to go to other doctor and pay other US$700 to repeat the exams and have my status finally approved. I know there is cheaper fees than that, but at this point, I was at my limit on stress and afraid any other mistake would make USCIS deny my process. I had a lot of stress symptoms until the end of this that I do not wish to anyone, not to mention the money spent. Disclosure: comparing the copies of the documents from both offices, the one Dr. Griffin gave me was a mess, there was unclear information, it was handwritten in a lot of fields (it has to be typed so USCIS can read it easily), there was information missing on the vaccines they gave me, and much more. The other doctor was completely professional and the documents were impeccable. Everything is wrong at this office, they only want your money. Don't recommend this place and I am only giving it one star because I can't give negative ones.

I've been going to Dr. Griffin's office for over a year now and she has always been pleasant and attentive with me. She always takes her time to hear out my concerns and responds appropriately. I couldn't recommend her enough. Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from...? But then again, a lot of patients leave bad reviews for doctors when they don't just freely hand out schedule 2 drugs...

She is among the best 3 Doctors I have been under the care of in my life. I have been seeing her for over 11 years and plan to continue seeing as long as she is practicing. Her and her staff treat me like family and a friend. I have total trust in her and her staff.

Worst doctor appointment ever. Dr. Griffin is unfriendly, incompetent and rude. Will never go back. Don't recommend at all.

I wish I would have seen some of these reviews before going. The whole visit I felt like she thought I was a waste of her time. She's condescending, insensitive, and frankly has no people skills. I felt pressured into getting a vaccination shot that I was uneasy about..I told her I would think about it during the physical and at the end I was still uneasy. She convinced me to get one and left the room to prepare the vaccine. After 5 minutes I decided I didnt feel comfortable getting it and opened the door to let her know I didnt want it anymore. After she hears me saying it to front desk guy she comes around the corner and says its too late I've already prepped it so you have to pay for it whether you get it or not in such a rude and irritated voice. What kind of doctor gives a patient an optional vaccine when they know they're uneasy about it from the start? She cared more about making money than about me and I will never return.

I've suffered from neck/shoulder pain for the last several years. I've been to so many doctors and I'm so glad to have found Dr. Griffin since she was the only doctor who was able to give me relief from my pain. I used to be in tears but now I'm enjoying life with comfort. Thanks Dr. Griffin.

I had negative after negative experience with this "doctor" for a little over a YEAR (yes, I know I should have left a lot sooner but I kept holding out HOPE that she would actually HELP ME & not keep ripping me off & ignoring my concerns like I don't know my own body). I had a undiagnosed ROTATOR CUFF injury that she kept blowing off no matter how many times I complained, cried & begged her to give me a referral to an orthopedic doctor. All she wanted to do was keep pumping me full of drugs that didn't help me & keep me coming in every 4 weeks in order to get "refills". It was the most ridiculous thing EVER.Not to mention the fact that her tech told me on numerous occasions that if I wanted to SELL my pain meds, they were worth about $10 each. SERIOUSLY !?!?! Who does that ?????? After trying her way for over a year I finally had enough & found a new doctor that has helped me & made things right. Steer clear of this office !!!!!!!

I have been going to Dr Griffin for a couple of years now. She has been fine with preventative appointments but as soon as I have had an actual problem, she has not been helpful at all. I have had an issue for over a year now and she has not offered a diagnosis at all. I have been forced to try to do my own research as I do not have the time or money to visit her over and over again. I give up and am now searching for a new Dr.

"Doctor" Griffin made my condition much worse and was not even nice.

Yuck!Morbidly obese physician, common for many American's but come on- set an example!Spent little time, and less explanation on what my health problem was, how to help myself and what to expect- but she did enjoy taking about her travel. I am in more pain now than before I went in to see her; This *first visit was a nightmare and is most certainly my last.
