Zero bedside manner. Very cold and uncaring

Horrible personality

I was disappointed with my appointments with Dr. Dang. I chose to go to her after reading about her qualifications on her website. She says her philosophy is that "There is a diagnosis for every symptom. Look for it and you will find it. If you don't find it keep looking." She ran multiple test and gave me the results. I left the last appointment feeling like she didn't believe my symptoms and wishing I would have chosen a different neurologist. I was left "still looking..." without her help. I had to find another doctor and transfer my records.

After several doctors of different varieties with conflicting opinions and thousands of dollars of tests, we were referred to Dr. Dang. She treated my dad quickly to get results where other doctors were waiting to see what the test results yielded--she clarified in advance that if she was wrong, the drugs would not hurt, but they would help if her hypothesis was correct. When you're falling down inexplicably, this is a big help. She recommended websites for research, the LSVT program at TIRR in Woodlands (HUGE difference in physical ability in 4 wks), referred us to Baylor Movement Disorder Clinic in Houston for symptoms that needed more in-depth analysis (he has a rare A-typical Parkinsonian disorder), back pain management due to falls (great provider referred), in-home health, and was very quick with her follow up exam cadence, easy to schedule with her team, and quick to respond to questions. Same day every time. No wondering what to do when meds act up or behavior takes a turn.… Very nimble. I use them over our GP sometimes because they're so quick, kind, and always accommodating and they are sweet enough to always help (and WANT to help which is important). Does she talk REALLY fast in doctor speak? Yes. Does she sometimes forget this is your life changing before your eyes/ears? Yes. Take notes and ask her to repeat the take-aways and actionables again slowly before she leaves the room and she will oblige very nicely--it's as if she doesn't realize sometimes the rest of us didn't go to med school :) I was seeing 2 neurologists at once when we started with her (3 visits each) and prepared to go to a third to ensure the diagnosis was right. The other one had an amazing bedside manner but was not nearly as proactive-his 3rd visit was the same as her first as far as progress. We stuck with her and I'm so happy we did. Accuracy and resources matter and she excels in both. And she is a really nice lady, very smart and helping A LOT of people each day=a bit hurried. You'll really appreciate that when they squeeze you in down the road; I know we did and continue to.

Dr. Dang appears to be professionally competent but she is rude, cold, unsympathetic, and otherwise personally unreachable. She has no interest in the patient as a whole.

Very rude and unprofessional. Treats patients with contempt and disdain. Appears to have emotional issues and should not be in a Patient Services Practice. Is NOT as knowledgeable she claims to be. Does not keep up with the latest information in Neurology.

Dr. Dang is an exceptional physician. She and her staff are extremely professional and deliver nothing but professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Dang to anyone I know that may be in need and stand very impressed! Thank you for your kindness!

I was very dissapointed in my visit with Dr.Dang. She was rude and obnoxious. She did not seem to comprehend that some people do not have lots of dollars to have tests done. This doctor will not get one more penny out of me. She has no bedside manner. I would not let her treat my dog.

I had no problems with dr dang herself but she has the worst staff I have ever encountered in a doctors office. Extremely difficult to work with them over paperwork filling out forms and such. Terrible attitudes from office staff over paperwork.
