JR Lino S Dial

This doctor needs to slow down and be more personable. He acts like your cattle and spends little time with you. Not sure but it sure seems like he's in it for the money honey. He made me feel like a number. He's no better than any other doctor, actually worse than most. I couldn't reccommend this doctor and will be finding another.

In the short time I was under his care (4 months) I saw him 2 times after that it was his PA. He needs to fire the staff and find more professional people to work for him. He also needs to slow down. I was under the impression he would be treating me and was a family doctor. He has 3 offices in 3 different cities, now that makes it rather hard to take care of patients. Maybe that's why he's rude.

After leaving Dr. Dial's office yesterday I litterally tried to tear the steering wheel off my vehicle as I sobbed uncontrollably after getting my diagnosis. After a year of extreme pain and only 3 months with Dr. Dial, HE had found the source of my pain. I have been blessed in my life. Enjoying a life of wealth and good living untill falling victim of the economy. Without going into detail lets just say that it all ended pretty abrubtly and I ended up going to the state for medical assistance after 4 years of no medical insurance. Realizing I was in trouble with my health I utilized the state Medicade system at age 49. I simply had to put my pride in my back pocket and ask for help. It's not fun! It truely took me a year of pain before I was forced to ask for help as my health was failing rapidly. Had it not been for the pain I was enduring I would never had asked the tax payers to help me. I HAD contrubuted to the system my entire life and now was just my turn to get a little… reciprication (this weas my justification for asking without feeling too badly). NOBODY will except you as a new patient when your on Medicade was the first hurdle I encountered. What a nightmare just trying to find a doctor on Medicade. That is the worst and then getting snarled at when you ask if the "except medicade". It was a true education just seeing how rude some/most doctors offices talk to you and sneer at you when your asking for what they must refer to as something for free. Dr. Dial DID except me and NEVER made me feel like a schlep for being on state assistance either. He treated me with dignity each and every visit, knowing he recieves about $52.00 per visit when doctors truely make about 7 times that amount conventionally, he treated with respect. When he found the route of my pain (degenerative lumbar disc desease and diabetic neuropothy in my legs) It was a relief as well as a life changing diagnosis just knowing my ACTIVE life was over as well as not knowing if I would ever be able to work in my trade ever again. Dr. Dial is one of the BEST doctors you will EVER have the privilage of working with. He changed my life, made me cry(lol) took away my pain and treated me with dignity and respect each and every visit. You'll love this doctor, I promise you.

My first impression was a very nice one. Dr. Dial was concerned about me health and took care in providing it. I have seen many doctors in my life and this one ranked right up there. Mt. Pleasant should be proud to have him in our town.

Do not expect miracles of service. Dial IS good but, like all primary care physicians tooday, operates under massive overload. Hence, what he does within the puny amount of time allocated to him by the system is short of miraculous. he'd be getting a much better salary in a large academic hospital setting, he'd be able to do more for his patients there, and he'd have much less stress which is equivalent to a much more attention to his patients than "good medicine" dictates. Dial is, indeed, a good physician performing small miracles daily, and a city like Mt. Pleasant ought to be delighted for having him and pray he doesn't go elsewhere.
