Dr. Lisa Yee Abrams, MD

Does not return calls and has a rude attitude if she does. No follow up and her bedside manner is appalling. Will be seeking a new doctor from an entirely different healthcare group since NorthShore University Health System has chosen to employ such an incompetent and unprofessional doctor. Although I have been a lifelong patient since being born at Evanston Hospital, this woman has made me lose all the confidence I had in them.

Kind but efficent. Spent lots of time getting to know her elderly patient. Very energetic and personable. Fashionable, yes. Gave total attention and listened patiently.

This woman has no concern for her patients well being and should not be practicing medicine. Worst experience with a doctor ever. Go to anyone else you can find and you will get better treatment.

Awful Dr. I would give her no stars if I could. I have never encountered such a self absorbed, snooty, rude Dr. in my life. She seems to care more about her outfit, gaudy jewelry (she wears so many accessories I'm surprised something doesn't smack you in the face when she's examining you) and 4 inch stiletto high heels than about seeing patients. Absolutely no follow up and waves off your concerns. She is very condescending and will make you feel as though you wasted her time. Go to any other Dr. and they will care more than she does. I would recommend a Walgreens or CVS clinic before going to her. I got better care getting my flu shot at CVS than I did from her. When calling her about a medical concern, she made it seem like I was bothering her. Also don't expect her to work with any other medical professionals that you see. When another Dr. I see tried to call her to speak with her about a medication I was taking, she couldn't even bother return his call. She made me feel like my… feelings were invalid and stupid. Save yourself the annoyance and heartache and see a different Dr. I wish someone had warned me.

This doctor is rude and unprofessional. She does not want to be a partner in your health care and is not interested in your concerns or questions. She treats her patients with disrespect and a belittling attitude.

She is a good diagnostician, she listens and she is not afraid to look up information if she doesn't know it. And if she's not in the office, the other doctors have all been good.
