Dr. Lisa Alderson, MD

My long term doctor has been Dr. Saadeh Al-Jureidini. He has always been so sweet and kind. I am pregnant and needed to get my cardiologist to write off that my heart was healthy before I could birth at Mercy Birthing Center, which is primarily Midwives. I had spoken about this at my last appointment with Dr. Jureidini and he was completely on board with my want to deliver at Mercy Birthing Center. He just wanted me to come back while pregnant and get a full check up. So I set up the appointment only to find out he retired and I was transferred to Dr. Lisa Alderson. She was INCREDIBLY rude. She came in while another techs was working/speaking to me, and just started to talk over him so he apologized and left. She seemed in a hurry and did not take any of my questions or opinions seriously. She came in with an instant bias against Midwives and refused to discuss any options, or listen to any of my concerns or wishes. She treated me so unprofessionally, and with such arrogance. Every… one of my tests came back completely perfect, and she still refused to even write out a note that my heart was healthy. It was a pure rant on how uneducated Midwives were. I have never felt that my wishes/concerns were so disregarded before, and I have never been treated so badly by any professional medical staff. I have been going to Cardinal Glennon for my congenital defect my entire life and now I will NOT be returning. I am transferring my care to a different cardiologist who listens to my wishes, and basis their decisions on medical fact and not personal bias. She should be ashamed of herself.
