Dr. Lisa Eunju Choi, MD

This doctor does not care. She was very dismissive, barely said anything to us, saw us for a maximum of 5 minutes. She made us feel like we were a burden to her. We tried to ask questions and gather more info but she was done with us from the beginning. When we tried to explain the patients symptoms she said “well I have back pain all the time”. Extremely unprofessional and highly do not recommend her.

Dr Choi get to the point, answers your specific questions, and considers possibilities that you may not have considered are contributing to your problem. I saw Dr Choi after having seen 3 other doctors who did not help me. She discovered that my problem was actually a hip related issue rather than the knees which is what I was there for. Because of Dr Choi I'm walking pain free. She shows you your essays and actually uses her brain.

My daughter has had two appointments with Dr. Choi. At the first appointment, the doctor assumed she knew what the problem was and didn't even prescribe Physical Therapy or an MRI. After several months of continued pain (and seeking our own PT), we returned to Dr. Choi, in hopes for some answers. Dr. Choi spent only 2 or 3 minutes with my daughter and didn't bother to even look at her knee until my husband asked her if she would at least examine the knee. (which she then quickly suggested a there was a different problem than originally stated) She then offered three very negative outcomes, with a very "why bother" attitude! We asked for a script for an MRI, which she agreed to, then she left! NOT A WORD OF COMFORT OR HEALING POSSIBILITES! We are disgusted with her lack of professionalism, expertise, care, and willness to help solve the problem!

I recently saw Dr Choi for knee pain with swelling and fluid. She handed me two images from my X-rays and said I have tgdd ewwww beginning of arthritis. No exam, no intervention. Follow up with a new MD, bakers cyst! Thanks for nothing

I saw dr Choi for a Worker’s compensation injury. She dismissed the fact that I told her how difficult walking and steps were and that my leg felt swollen from my ankle to knee. Time to move on for a second opinion. When you could hardly walk, something is going on.

Friendly, knowledgeable Doctor with great credentials. My Father-in-Law was set in panic mode by his General Doctor. Dr. Choi calmed his fears and ordered biopsy. Very professional.

I was recently evaluated for a work related left knee injury and was disgusted with the lack of care I received by Dr Choi. She was very rude as she verbalized my MRI results and stated, “good luck trying to get workers comp to cover these costs” as she tossed a billing statement at me for check out purposes. She failed to provide a proper examination having me roll up tight jeans of affected knee at my first appointment noting, “It is not swollen”. However, failing to compare with my other knee joint. That was a first! The second visit she didn’t even bother examining my knee. She gave me two options at my second visit- go to PT or go back to work. Well, your the specialist- do I need PT? Why does me knee still hurt when I walk? How about finding a new specialist as I will go with that option.
