Dr. Lisa M Colon, MD

Dr. Colon is a wonderful doctor. If it were not for her my baby and I would not be here today.

Dr. Colon delivered 2 of my babies one went fine and my last was a nightmare. She literally pulled my baby out with one foot on the bed and my daughter suffered a brachial plexus injury from her negligence and my endless surgeries I have had do to her negligence. She cares about no one but if that happened to her child or to her I'm sure she would be reacting totally different. She is horrible I would not trust her with anyone. I'm not even sure how she even is allowed to practice anymore.

She is a terrible obgyn. She has no patience. Doesn’t take her time. Besides that the wait was extremely long. She committed so many negligence while I gave birth.

I was nervous to have her do my C-section because through out my pregnancy another doctor was following me. I am high risk and last minute my doctor couldn’t deliver me. I had really bad anxiety going into it because I had only seen her twice my whole pregnancy however the morning of my delivery she made it a point to come into my room before surgery and reassure me of her capabilities and calm me down about the whole situation. She also did her best to make me as comfortable as possible afterwards by coming check on me more than just for her rounds and taking her time to answer my million questions. I always had staples for my other two sections however she did stitches and I truly believe this is my easiest recovery out of my Three. I honestly wish I would have seen her my whole pregnancy

The receptionist was cold and rude. Dr. Colon was worse!! She spent 5 minutes in the room and literally would not answer my questions. I waited over an hour for my appointment but was still in a good mood until after my visit. Dr. Colon made a rude joke at my expense with her assistant right in front of me. NEVER will go back again.

Dr Lisa colon is very nice but aside from that, she's been the worst gyn i have ever gone to. Very short with words, does not make you feel comfortable, always seems like she's in a rush. Her staff is great and they give better care than her. I went to her and she immediately said I needed surgery with no other option. I had the surgery, never saw her before or after. She didn't leave any discharge instructions or medicine with the nurse at hospital. Follow up appt I had to ask all questions cause she wasn't telling me anything. She is NOT recommend. I'll make sure to NEVER go back there. She should really consider changing her ways or she will be left with no patients.

She makes you wait for ever before she comes in the room and when she finally come she sits with you for about 30seconds. I had a horrible experience every time I went there. Most of the staff is really nice considering they are the ones that have to tell you what's going on with you. I should have paid more attention to the other poor ratings on the site. Do not go to her if you are looking for a new doctor! She's the worst very unwelcoming. If you do decide to go to her make sure ur day is clear because you will be there a while. Also done ask to many questions because she don't answer those very well save all your questions for the nurse because Dr Colon don't talk much.

I do NOT recommend this doctor. The doctor does not spend time with you or ask any questions. She makes you feel worse than when you come in.

For over a year I had issues with chronic BV and my last doctor told me I was over treated and to stop everything as I was doing per her and her staff. I was still have symptoms and being frustrated my other doctor gave up on me after seeing her for 8 years , I saw Dr. Colon without any knowledge of how she would be. Her staff is always nice and they will go above and beyond to fit you in if you have an emergency. Yes, Dr. Colon is quick and she is down to the point but if you ask her a question she will give you the truth, but be sure you have everything ready when she is in the room. She was very honest with me, suggested follow up appointments and after almost two years my BV is finally cleared !! I wish I would have seen her when all of this mess first started . Her waits can be long but to me she is worth the wait. I don't mind her being quick and to the point , I would rather have that than some fake friendly doctor . Highly recommend..

I had surgery with Dr Colon last year and had a great recovery. Her staff and her are so caring. Dr. Colon always answers all of the questions every time I go to her office. The office looks like a SPA! I can't imagine any other GYN I rather see.
