Dr. Lisa Rose Durso, MD

Had an afternoon appointment and was left to wait 90 minutes after my appointment time. Was then told there were forms to be filled out, that no one had mentioned the hour and a half I was there. Dr Durso herself was unprofessional, berating her office staff while the door to my exam room was open, and had a poor bedside manner, did not seem able to take an appropriate history without promoting from me. On needing refills for a medication, I had to call the office back 3 times, staff claimed "they must have forgotten to leave the note for Dr Durso." I finally was able to get my prescription a week after I had initially called the office, however the script was called in incorrectly and needed another call to the office to correct. Do not recommend her.

Dr Durso is a fabulous doctor. She is the doctor you don't find any longer. She looks into every aspect of you health. She is not the type of doctor who just sends you to a specialist for a specific complaint and writes you off. she gets involved in your whole body wellness. She is a rarity among doctors. She spends time with you and is genuinely concern. You are not just a number on a mass production assembly line as you see most practitioners headed these day. She is a true doctor. A doctor who cares.

Dr. Durso is hands down the best GP. She is highly knowledgeable, takes her time and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed and she is extremely thorough in her exam. I will never go to another GP in NYC other than Dr. Durso- the best!
