Dr. Lisa Michelle Ercolini-Bhatia, MD

I went for a visit for abdominal pain with Dr. Ercolini, who is not my PCP due to mine being on vacation. On my medical record I had an IUD implant that was inserted Jan 2020 but later removed in Aug 2020. She began to ask me why I removed it and explained to her that I was experiencing negative hormonal changes. She began condescending me that IUD do not cause hormonal changes and it was all mental and I was making it up. Reminder, I did not go in for the IUD implant that had already been removed over a year ago. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt and ignored said comments. She then began to ask me questions about my eating habits, I am a 125 pound, healthy 24 year old. She questioned me about caffeine intake, I told her it was reduced to close to none. Dr. Ercolini questioned my response. She then asked about eating tomatoes, I let her know I did not like them and she responded with a "Really? Not even eat pizza at all?." At this point it became evident that the Dr.… Ercolini's interest want not to diagnose me but rather patronize me and decided to end the care from Dr. Ercolini mid appt. If you would like to be treated with respect, I'd advise you to find another provider. I would hate for anyone else to go through this experience.

Can only give one star, due to having never been able to actually see her during the 5+ plus months she has been our "Primary Care" doctor. Keep getting shuffled off to a PA.

I really like Dr Lisa, she is always concerned about me and is always willing to listen to me as I have many medical issues. She is so wonderful.
