Lisa C Fishman, MD

Lisa Fishman has been my doctor for many years. She is caring, attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable not only about medicine in general but about my personal history. She listens when I speak and considers my opinions about my health without disdain. I will never leave this practice and have jumped through many insurance hoops to stay.

Dr. Fishman is caring, takes her time, knows your history, considers all the facts of your life before just checking your vitals. She is smart, attentive and available. I will never leave her practice.

Dr Fishman seemed great at first. After my yearly check up, she agreed that we had several health issues to work through. She reassured me that after her vacation, we would reconnect. However, she never followed up with me despite me leaving messages with her staff. I recently called her office again, left a message and again, no one from the office called back. I ended up having to go to CityMD because I got tired of waiting. What's the point of having a primary Dr. if they don't take you calls? I think she's simply too spread thin to actually serve her patients.

Dr. Fishman is knowledgeable, honest and caring. However, the office staff is erratic. Some know what to do and do it well. Others have attitude and are not very friendly towards the patients. Saw one person braiding another worker's hair while handling a urine specimen. Not very appealing.
