Dr. Lisa Ganjhu, DO

She was very nice in our initial consultation but has been rude In subsequent meetings. Not sure what I did to cause this or if it is her. She might serve her patients better if she were honest with them and worked on her professionalism. If she stopped with the eye-rolling and actually communicated with her patients, they might appreciate it more. I’m not sure if I want to go back.

I had an initial appointment with Dr. Ganjhu where she quickly looked over the my medical paperwork, then I asked a question about the colonoscopy procedure I was to have. She told me that she would not answer my question (she was busy) but would have a nurse answer questions and told me her portion of the “consult” was over. As it turned out her nurse was not there as she had left for the day. Disappointed by the lack of follow up to an important question (it is important to be properly prepared for such a procedure so that it does not have to be redone), I was told that someone would call to clarify things. No one called. I called back three times requesting the information, as it was not covered at all in the few pages - many of which were blank and others printed out so that they were not readable- that were given me. I finally cancelled the appointment because Dr. Ganjhu did not fulfill her duty to consult with her patient -what else was the appointment for - just to get payment… from the insurance company?

Compassionate and a great clinician!

I showed up at Dr. Ganjhu's office in pain. I was on time, had proper insurance, and she refused to see me because my ID had no photo. I offered to have my passport faxed to her office but she claimed the picture would not transmit clearly enough. I wept because I had waited for days in discomfort before I could get an appointment- and her staff giggled.

The staff and office were nice, but during consultation, I felt a bit rushed. Would've appreciated more time spent explaining the nature of my symptoms and what I can do for them.

Dr. Ganjhu is a professional of the highest caliber. She is thorough, conscientious and caring. I highly recommend her.

She seems overworked and tired. I would wait minimum 1 hour to see her, and she was spend 5 mins with me - filling out her paperwork and asking how everything was going without looking me in the eye.

Doctor was not very responsive to questions. Doctor and staff were not good at returning calls.
