Dr. Lisa M. Hartman

Dr. Hartman was my primary doctor for years. She is very pleasant and was fine for addressing obvious ailments like the flu. She ordered the same blood tests every year without fail and was out the door before I had the opportunity to ask questions. She kept telling me I was perfectly healthy, which was what I wanted to hear and so I kept going back, but in my gut I felt the care was not thorough and that things weren't adding up. She was part-time and I rarely saw her when I fell ill, either because she was booked with physicals or was off that day. It must be challenging to provide primary care on a part-time basis. I moved to another town, which forced me to get a new doctor who took the time to listen to my questions. Since then, every few months I have been diagnosed with something else from the various specialists my new doctor sent me to, and almost all are conditions I have had for some time that went undiagnosed. Plenty of doctors before her missed them to, but she was the… doctor I saw for the longest period of time, and I'm left feeling like the majority of my appointments with her were a waste of my time.
