Dr. Lisa K Henson, PhD

I saw Dr. Lisa for about two years. My anxiety was really serious and I was starting to find it hard to go to work and it was interfering with my relationships. I've had anxiety all my adult life but it was getting worse. I saw two other therapists but they just weren't effective. I needed a therapist who took the time and made the effort to really understand me and my anxiety. Dr. Lisa was the one. Yes, it took some time but she came to understand me on a deep level and I now understand myself. My anxiety is so much better and I know what to do to effectively manage it. I'm happy and have my life back. I'm so glad I found Dr. Lisa.

Dr Henson is a very experienced and knowledgeable therapist and I really appreciated not only her compassionate approach but also her seasoned ability to break through what needed to be broken through. I would highly recommend Dr. Henson.

She can handle easy cases, but when it gets serious she will abandon clients and never look back. If you suffer from more than just a difficult situation that needs short term therapy, run fast and find someone else. She's unwilling to dedicate the time; more interested in short term therapy, quick fix, easy solution. Sometimes life doesn't work that way and individuals need more support. Don't expect her to give it to you.
