She deserves no stars. Unbelievable she still has a license. She not only refused to help my child when she had the opportunity she purposefully put him in a situation where he was abused emotionally mentally and physically by his step mother. My son, now an adult, suffers from PTSD, severe anxiety and anger issues. He came home crying from every visit with his dad when he was younger, when he became older he came home angry. The horry county family court system completely failed him and attorneys and judges within the system took bribes from my ex, who had $ and Jackel played along also for the $ I'm sure as her fees were enormous. She saw my case only as an opportunity for her to make $, she is unethical. I pray for my son and all the other children whose lives she impacted negatively, which is a mild word for what she did. She actually testified in person, charging an enormous fee, and not only, withheld info that could have helped my son, but twisted facts, left out truths and… practically handed my son over for years of abuse at the hands of his stepmother.

Dr. Jackel is an amazing psychologist. Though she has a tendency to run late, this is because she is so caring about each of her patients that she makes sure she helps them to the fullest, sometimes causing her to run behind. She is very thoughtful and engaging as well as very trusting. She won't belittle you or make one feel bad about themselves or their situation. She tells you how things are and what you can do to make them better and holds you accountable if you aren't actively participating in the treatment outside of the session which is really great and sometimes necessary. I highly recommend going to see her for treatment!!
