Dr. Lisa Anne Newman, MD

Sad that Dr. Newman isn't in either the Cigna, Aetna or the Humana Medicare Advantage networks. With so many people aging into Medicare, and with the trend of people going towards Medicare Advantage plans vs. regular Medicare and a supplement, it would be nice if her practice would open up and start taking members with these plans.

Have seen Dr Newman for @12 years. She has been a mentor, a cheerleader and a guiding light for health. Thank you for you dedication to detail and referrals only when needed!

Lisa Newman is a great doctor. I have told many of my friends about her, and I got my husband and daughter to go to her. She really cares about patients and spends time listening to them more than any doctor I have ever met (and I'm over 50 years old!). She is intelligent but very humble. She welcomes questions from her patients. I hope she never leaves the area.

I was very comfortable with Dr. Newman. She was thorough, but didn't put me through unnecessary tests. I was most impressed that she called me herself to give me the results of my blood work. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new doctor, especially to women.

It's sometimes difficult to get an appointment with her, but it's well worth the wait. She's extremely caring and seems to truly be interested in my needs and my concerns. She really wants to get to the bottom of whatever the issue at hand is.
