Dr Rivera is without any doubt the best Neurologist and Epilepsy specialist that I have ever encounter. She was patient , listen to me closely and helped me to the degree that I am having no more seizures. Dr Rivera is very highly recommended by me and I hope to continue seeing her in the future.

After seeing her for the first time for no more than 15 mins she decided to change my meds after I told her my concerns that I'd not a seizure in almost a year, she insisted that I "try" this new drug that would be amazing for my epilepsy. Within 2 months, I was having seizures daily, had to quit my job and practically begged her for my old medication back but once again she insisted we stick to this new regimen until finally after being admitted into the hospital for 2 weeks she placed me back on my old meds and wouldn't return any calls. After 6 months of ..... I'm still not the same! Please do your research before seeing this doctor! I beg of you!

Dr. Rivera is an outstanding and gifted neurologist. I had been battling with seizures for almost five years when I met her. Within six short weeks, she was able to come up with a medication combination and a treatment plan that not only lessened the severity of my seizures, but also reduced the frequency of their occurrence when doctors that I had seen in over three different facilities had not been nearly as effective. She was a Godsend!
