Dr Schalley is very respectful attentive and I was prescribed a prescription for my irritated eye

I have a long history with Dr. Schalley. I appreciate her patience with me.

Appointment at four and was told to be there fifteen minutes early. I was there at 3:45 like I was told. I was checked in. I waited until 4:40 to even enter the exam room. Nurse was very inpersonable. Then I waited another 20 minutes in the exam room to see the doctor. She had no personality and rapid fired off questions and did nothing to help me for the reasons I came in. I don't think she even listened to me.never going back.

I went to this doctor for over 10 years because I was led to believe that because I had so many illnesses that another doctor would not want to "take me on as a patient". I finally left and begged another doctor to see me. The new doctor was shocked that I was told this. Schalley is a "high volume" doctor so she sees many patients. Most of her patients are from the poorer areas where her office is located. During the 10 years, I had to seek out other specialist because she was not addressing the conditions I was seeing her for. 5 surgeries later I had all I could take. She is a very bad doctor and I pity the people stuck with her.

office was changing from paper charts to EHR . Nurse did not have a current list of my meds. Dr S did not have my paperwork from a sepcialist that I had seen from two weeks ago and could not find them.I will check with the specialist.

I like Dr. Schalley very much. I have been going to see her for the last few years and she is a great doctor, in my opinion.My first appointment was just an initial check-up as she did not have my medical records from my previous physician, but, at my second appointment, it was clear she had taken the time to go through my records carefully and was well versed in what my previous diagnoses and treatments were. For the most part, those treatments stayed the same, but she also discovered a couple other problem areas and started me on treatments for those.She is, most times, direct and to the point and doesn't whitewash things. I like that. She also has a good sense of humor, too, I have discovered.I'd recommend her to anyone.
