I have been a patient of Dr. Shaffer's for 3 years. She has been very patient and compassionate regarding my needs. I have had a hard time connecting with my family because of my PTSD and depression. Dr. Lisa has helped me to recognize the need for medication and consistent therapy appointments. She has met with my family members to talk to them about how to help me get better. She never judges and is a great listener, offering helpful advice. She truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Schaffer is a wonderful psychologist. She has helped me learn to manage anxiety and depression due to chronic illness as well as repair my relationship with my mother, a recovering alcoholic. She has tried different treatment options and approaches with me to help me meet my goals. I have been seeing her for over a year and feel she has helped me greatly. She is caring, non-judgemental and seems to truly want to help her patients. I recommend her without reservation.
