Smart, patient, kind, knowledgeable.

This so called psychiatric doctor should go back to school. I found her to be sarcastic and a liar, who makes false statements and the innocent patient suffers due to her lack of knowledge and compassion. I strongly advise to truly think prior to seeing this doctor.

I started seeing Dr. Shea after I found out my insurance was not accepted after my appointment had already been made. Dr. Shea went out of her way to accept me as a patient even though I had the wrong insurance. She is a very kind Doctor who listens to her patients and never judges them. I have had a very hard time looking for psychiatrists over the years and she is the first one that I can honestly say I trust after over two decades of seeing different ones for major depressive disorder and panic attacks. She is very prompt when there are issues I am worried about, gets back to my messages about medications within hours and has my medications refills sent out within hours of calling in for a refill. Good psychiatrists are rare, great psychiatrists are almost a myth, Dr. Shea is both a great psychiatrist and a very compassionate person which I have found to be an extremely rare combination in psychiatrists. I would recommend her to everyone.

Best doctor I've ever had. Managed my bipolar better in months than 3 different doctors did in 3 years. Helped me realize my anxiety was not being properly managed and was the root of many issues. She got me on the right medications which I now understand are an absolute necessity to manage my condition and need to be taken regularly. Had two instances of crisis, she returned my phone calls within hours and got me in to see her. One person changed my life.
