Dr. Lisa Lynn Vendeland, DO

I went to Dr. Vendeland for a birth control consultation. Her attitude was incredibly condescending and judgmental. I was relieved there was a nurse in the room so I could make eye contact with someone every time Dr Vendeland made an unhelpful comment - it made me feel less stranded in this situation. She does not give out correct or current medical advice, and assumed I had not read medical journals because I was 'so desperate to get birth control.' I would certainly not recommend her, especially if you are a young woman.

Dr. V. Has been my dr. for 11 years. I am 77. She is excellent. I would recommend her to my best friend.

Is more concerned with 'insurance coverage' than concern of patient. Quite unorganized, doesn't listen or respond to questions, rude and disrespectful. Very easy to get appointment, now I understand why...low patient volume.

Excellent, caring doctor! Does not rush you. Cares about all patients.

If you value your life or the life of your baby, you will not go to this joke of a Dr.!!!!!!!!

Although Dr. Vendeland was nice, she spent little time in the room with me which was thoroughly discouraging considering how long the wait to see her is, let alone the wait to be taken into the exam room. After facing infertility for several months and having numerous questions, I never felt as though she answered me or gave me any guidance. The staff was ok only, but found them mostly to be unorganized. And on one occasion I was scheduled for a procedure which was never performed and I was charged to be told by the nurse (or quite possibly the medical assistant?) that they received my labs and unfortunately the Dr. was not there to review them. Waste of my time and my money! Overall a not so pleasant experience. Glad to have finally found a wonderful physician who is readily available and thoroughly answers my questions and has a kind and caring office staff.

Can't actually rate Dr. Vendeland, since after going to her office for 4 months, I never met her.They never knew how far along my pregnancy was, I always had to correct them. Mid-wives that I met do not listen to you at all...always thought mid-wives are supposed to be more focused on you as a person. Overall terrible experience for me. Always left the office feeling sad and discouraged...

It was my first pregancy, which unfortuantly ended in a miscarriage.She never showed up for my 1st ultrasound. After the D&C I got an infection of the uterus and ended up in the ER. After my ER visit she offered very little in the form of follow up, support, or treatment.Very horrible experience and I found her to be very unprofessional.
