Dr. Lisa Renee Waterman, DO

Major reconstructive surgery. Love her!!!

I switched to Dr. Waterman in 2016 when i found out i was pregnant. She was very personable, kind and knowledgeable. My first pregnancy had no complications until we lost our son unexpectedly. This was at no fault of the Dr. she did everything she could to find a cause and diagnosed me with MTHFR. My second pregnancy I was on medication to help with this and to prevent the same event to happen again. I was watched like a hawk and also had a specialty OB. Towards the end of my pregnancy I had slight Indication that i had the beginning of preeclampsia. She did the best care for my second born and I as to prepare us for early delivery. The week following delivery she gave steroids for my sons lungs to develop faster and did blood work and ultrasounds daily. She was determined to have a healthy baby born and she succeeded. She induced me and broke my water and my son was born with no complications and no time in the nicu as he was 5 weeks early. I am so thankful for the knowledge this dr… has and her determination to bring healthy babies into this world. I recommend her! Especially if you are high risk.

I searched around and had many consultations and Dr. Waterman by far was the best around. She was patient, confident, and answered all of my questions without being rushed.

I thought she was very personable and friendly. She new what she was doing and she was compassionate about the procedure. Thank you Doc!!

I was nervous about finding a new obgyn, and was glad I chose her. She is really nice, and made me feel at east.

She seemed easygoing for most of my pregnancy, but at the end, she forced me into inducing labor unnecessarily, and she artificially broke my water very early in the process. I objected to these things, but I was unable to find another provider late in pregnancy. I did not think she would stonewall me into interventions I did not want, but I was wrong. There were no problems with the pregnancy; she simply told me, "I do not allow my patients to go more than a week over" (exact words). Her interventions resulted in a c-section that I do not believe should have been necessary. Avoid this doctor if want natural labor.
