Dr. Lisa Iu-Ye Yang, MD

Dr Yang delivered both of my children who are now teenagers. I have been seeing her for 18 years. She is a great doctor and person. I always trust her care and advice.

First Class Dr..Outstanding care and knowledge of her trade. Cares for her patients on every level.

I was seen by Dr. Yang as a new patient after having been told that I had fibroid. Dr. Yang put me on birth control pills and stated that fibroid were so common in African American women that she saw no need to treat them until I got married and decided to have children. I don't know what medical school told her that it is appropriate to say that to a patient EVER. My course of treatment should have no bearing on my marital status. I would never recommend anyone be treated by this woman. She doesn't listen and she gives out bad advice. I did go to another physician, whom I can trust, and it was determined that my fibroids were extremely large and after two surgeries I ended up with a total hysterectomy.

Did not feel comfortable talking with Dr. Yang. Felt like she blew off my worries about my body and what was going on. Not very prompt about calling about results or returning phone calls.
