Dr. Lisbet Margareta Hanson, MD

I am still in shock. I have been going to Dr Hanson since I was 16 years old. I am now 52. I stopped going in 2015 because they stopped taking my insurance. I got a letter that they were accepting my insurance again. I have waited until I needed a appointment. I called today to schedule appointment for me and my 17 year old daughter. I was told they would call me back as her schedule was full. THE RUDEST OFFICE MANAGER called me back to inform me that Dr Hanson would not see me and put in my folder that she would not see me because of 5 missed appointments and 13 cancellations. NOW, I have never canceled any thing 13 times and I personally have worked in the medical field for 27 years. I told the office manager that this was a mistake and she rudely said "I have proof". Needless to say 1) this is a COMPLETE MIX UP OF SOME KIND 2) What a RUDE office manager 3) I am in complete shock!!!!!!

As a new patient to Dr. Hanson, I’d read the reviews and her credentials prior to making an appointment and had searched multiple OB GYN’s in the area and decided her location and professional credentials were aligned with my needs. Upon arrival at her office there was no wait, she was prompt for my appt time and completed an annual PAP. She reviewed my previous records with me, answers all of my questions and provided consult on IUD’s I was interested in. After checking with my insurance she stated if I’d like to get an IUD installed during my appt after my PAP I could. I agreed and she walked me through every step of the procedure which took less than 5 minutes total. I found her bedside manners to be warm, professional, confident and thorough. It has been two weeks since my appt and I have experienced no complications. I will be returning.

Dr.Hanson is very thorough and attentive to her patients. She always takes plenty of time to listen and to examine me. She is personable, warm and professional. I wish all of my physicians were as outstanding as she is.

I gave it 3 years. I find this doctor to be cold, condescending, and has no interest in spending any more than your strict 15 minutes. In addition, this past bust, after she asked how I was doing, I mentioned 2 things menopause related and another that was not. She spent no extra time, made no diagnosis, yet billed Anthem for an entire 2nd visit! Never again. Follow ups after visits are via their web site.

I can't say enough about Dr. Hanson. I'm actually typing this while still in the hospital less than 24 hours following a robot- assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy. This is a procedure if needed for several years and truly dreaded having it done. That is until I moved back to the area and found Dr. Hanson again after 20 years. I knew immediately I was in the best possible hands. Trust her implicitly and I'm feeling very good considering the procedure I just went through 12 hours ago. She is professional, knowledgeable, kind and immediately makes you feel confident. She stopped in a few hours ago to check in and put me at total ease--completely approachable and easy to talk with. I feel blessed.

I have seen several of the doctors at this practice and they have all been wonderful. Dr. Hanson is very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is also very friendly.

I was in the office for over an hour and a half. I did not have a good experience whatsoever, and the dr was sarcastic with me and did not really try to answer the questions I had. I would not recommend this office to a friend and will not be going back.

Very professional and courteous. She is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend her.
