Dr. Lise Carol Walker, MD

She will get a good close if you want a dmx without reconstruction, will allow you to choose what you have done. She will not force extra skin on you. BUT, make sure you have a pain mgmt dr on board first as she plays hot potato with pain mgmt. I woke up screaming and shaking from my surgery. She had me speak with the anesthesiologist beforehand, who clocked out mid surgery like she worked at McDonald's and did not hand off anything we discussed presurgery to new dr. Dr Walker knew of my fibro, and that I would need extra help with pain mgmt-she left it up to the hospitalist, who was like, no, that is not my job and got a pain mgmt dr to take over. CANCER is specifically mentioned in the guidelines of opioids as excluded and she acts like she is allergic to them. Pain management is part of surgery. I have PTSD now from this experience.

Dr. Walker provided careful, compassionate care.

Dr. Walker diagnoised my mom w- right breast cancer in May and yet all her previous mammos were normal. Dr walker just did an U/S in office of only one breast where she did the biopsy. Yet she quick to schedule surgery not even knowing or checking if there was anything in her other breast. She suggested getting the MRI but then said oh we don't need to do that if you have bilat mastectomy. At this point there has been no map out of my moms breast other than the in office u/s! (All previous mammo showed just dense tissue) I had my mom get a second opinion and that surgeon ordered the MRI and it turns out my mom has cancer in both breasts and the one Dr. Walker ignored is the worse one! So had we gone with her it would have been a horrible experience to undergo surgery then have to do it again a week later bcuz the dr failed to check the other breast prior to operating! Please Get a Second Opinion and always make sure both breast have had full work up prior to signing up for surgery.

Dr. Walker provided me with adequate time in all office appointment. She was in my room prior to my surgery time and after surgery she kept family informed. What a great doctor and bed side manner

From the moment I met her, she was wonderful. Took her time with me and answered all my questions. Had a lumpectomy and then bi lateral mastectomy, she saved my life. I recommend her to everyone.
