Dr. Loabat Amiri, MD

Dr. Amiri is an amazing physician. I have been diabetic for 42 years. In that time I have had to change doctors from time to time, because of myself or my physician moving to a new location. Each time I would dread the idea of starting all over again, getting my new doc up to speed on what does and doesn't work with my diabetes management. Sometimes they listen and sometimes they don't. Dr. Amiri was, and still is, a listener. If she doesn't agree with an idea you may have, she will tell you why, and she will tell you what she thinks you should do to make things better. I have been on an insulin pump since 1994 (30 years!). She is so knowledgeable about the different pumps on the market, and can tell you the pros and cons of all of them. I just switched to a new brand of pump six months ago, after all these years, and because of her help the switch was a breeze! She, or her staff, will always get back to you in a very timely manner if you call with any questions. I don't think I could… have found a better endocrin- oligist. I feel like she and her staff all care about me so much!!

I love this doctor, she gets right to th point a doesn't beat around the bush. If you ask a question she will answer honestly! She's put me back on the right track!
