Dr. Lola Kwan, MD

My son was in need of help sudden onset of horrible pain of all the not so nice doctors we saw she was one of the better ones I felt she listened and cared about my son of course after heading to the ER the third time we didn't have her in the hospital her co-worker i did not care for but what little contact Dr. Kwan gave us I felt as if she cared. I would definitely see her again until i feel different.

Look at all the reviews as multiple patients say the same thing. Talks down to patients and acts as though we as patients are idiots. I may not have gone to medical school but this is no way to treat anyone. This doctor is a typical, here's some meds and you will be fine. If you need a follow up visit she will tell you to go see a surgeon.

Saw Dr. Kwan for an upper GI. She was about 30+ minutes late all went well. Then I scheduled an appointment to discuss an Upper GI with Zoc Doc an online service. They confirmed it. I went this week. She was not there, she is on maternity leave and did not block off the time with the service. The Dr.'s have to guarantee they are available at these times. I asked if I could see someone else. I was told I couldn't "Dr. Hop", that is a rude response when it was their mistake. I will find an office where my time is valued.

She is rude and unkind. I would never go to this doctor again.

The office staff was great, but this woman was not. She was very combative and had a terrible bedside manner. She acted like I wasn't making sense when describing my pain and got almost combative with me, like it wasn't possible to have pain in that area. She also referred several times to it being cycle or ovarian related even after I told her (SEVERAL times) I had a total hysterectomy. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend her to anyone.

My attorneys requested my medical records for the past several months and now need a court order to get them from her. They will not comply.
