Dr. Lonnie Loutzenhiser is absolutely incredible! A bone spur on my sciatic nerve had me in so much pain that I couldn't walk, stand, or sleep. I had constant pins and needles / numbness in my foot and foot, plus hip pain. Dr. Loutzenhiser performed an L5-S1 laminectomy to remove it, and the relief was instantaneous. I woke up from surgery feeling better. I can walk for 1.8 miles (just 3 weeks after surgery). I highly recommend him to anyone needing care. Dr. Loutzenhiser is the best!

After a T-bone car wreck which partially dislodged a vertebra in my lower back, the sciatica pain my right leg was so severe I couldn’t walk more than one city block. I met with Dr. Loutzenhiser, he showed me the x-rays of my back, and very clearly explained in everyday words how he could help me. He also correctly predicted that the day following the surgery I would be able to walk again, without pain in my leg. I have now completed my twelve-week recovery period, and I routinely walk over a mile every day.

11 weeks ago I had two major procedures done on my spine. Before the surgery I was having chronic hip and back pain. I could barely stand for more than a few minutes or walk more than a few hundred feet without having to take a break due to excruciating pain. I was in a very dark place. All I was experiencing was constant, chronic pain and it affected my mental and physical health. Dr. Louthzinhiser and Kaitlyn were outstanding. I was having problems which required a partial Laminectomy to mitigate the nerve pain. Completely dismissed my pain. First question he asked was "why are you here" despite the fact that I have already been seen by 3 different people in his practice. Told me to wait through 6 more weeks of physical therapy despite the fact that I have been in PT for 6 months. Spent about 60 seconds on a physical exam.

I was given the best treatment I have ever experienced. Dr Loutzenheiser is the best. My sciatica pain was intolerable. Dr. Loutzenhiser is an excellent surgeon and a knowledgeable professional. He took plenty of time with me at each visit and answered all my questions. I had spinal fusion surgery C3-T-2 in March 2024 and it went fantastic. My pain was gone when I awoke from surgery and it hasn’t returned. Dr. Loutzenhiser and his staff are smart and patient. They get an A+ from me.
