Dr. Loraine Lynn Carroll, MD

Dr. Carroll is a fantastic Pediatrician! She is so caring and I fully trust her with the care of my two daughters. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Refused to see my child. The receptionist said he would be fine and to give him water. He was diagnosed with pneumonia at an emergency room 5 days prior to contacting Dr. Carroll's office. Since the visit at the e.r., his condition worsened, and his temperature lingered around 105°f. I called Dr. Carroll's office to follow up but was told to just give him water and rest. My husband requested that our child be seen by a Dr. And the receptionist became rude and even laughed.

Rude staff. Dr. reveals too much about other patients/families. I actually like the nurse! Going elsewhere.

My child had the flu and was vomiting and was very ill we had to rush and use the trash can because we my child could not wait! Dr. Carroll and her staff made my child go out to the hallway restroom down the hall to use the facility instead of her own facility! I thought she was a physician that took care of sick kids? Apparently not! I would have cleaned up after my child if allowed in their own facility not all parents are the same. If parents don't clean up after then the nurses should say something. Then the staff became upset with me and then I became upset with the receptionist in front of all the people there and then Dr. Carroll did not want to see us ever more... What kind of doctor is this?!! She cares more for her staff than the patients!!!! Bad score for this doctor!!!!!!

Dr. Carol is very friendly, however her nurse and office staff are so rude. It is impossible to see her if my child is sick. We can never get through her nurse. We don't need a doctor to be friendly we need a doctor to treat well and sick children. We are looking for another Dr.

I called to try and schedule for either of their doctors to see my baby when she is born and both receptionists were very rude and not helpful at all. I couldn't believe how unprofessional they were. I can see where the other two people had problems with office staff.

Every time we call the nurse blows us off like we don't matter. The nurse is rude and needs to get a new bedside manner. Dr. Carroll is very kind and nice but we are going elsewhere.

My children have seen Dr. Carroll over the last 8 years. However, we are looking for a new Pediatrician due to the lack of customer service and lack of professionalism with her office staff. It is very difficult to get appt with Dr. Carroll. And on the occassion, when are you able to convince her nurse that you child needs to be seen by the doctor, you are generally waiting 30 to 40 minutes to actually see Dr. Carroll. Dr. Carroll may run behind schedule because she does take the time to thoroughly discuss any concerns with her patient's parents. But Dr. Carroll's professionalism and good bedside manner are not enough to outshine, how difficult it is to get an appointment when need, having to explain your concerns to the nurse when you want to see or speak with the doctor, or the lack of professionalism with her office staff. It's too bad really.

We like Dr. Carroll, but it is difficult to get an appointment with her due to her nurse. It is easy to get well visits, but difficult to get past the nurse for any sick visits. Isn't the reason I have a doctor so that my child can be seen when they are sick? Recently, I called twice in the same day to have her see my child. Both times I was told by her nurse that my child was fine and should only rest at home. I was not allowed to see or talk to the doctor. I followed my intuition and took her to the emergency room where my child was admitted and had surgery within hours. This is a recurring theme with her office and I plan to seek a new doctor.
