Dr. Loren Curtis Finley, MD

I was referred to him by a friend of mine. I am having my first baby and I am so lost with all the information each family member gives me. But what makes everything less stressful is when you know your dr is going to help answer all your questions and concerns and shares the same christian beliefs you do! He is a busy Dr. and that is ok, shows that their are ppl that love him and see him for a reason so I wait however long just to see him! I enjoy my time in office every time and the nursing staff is awesome

Amazing Dr cares about you and your baby. The office staff is marvelous. I trusted him with his advice.

I wish I would have listened to all the bad reviews. I don't even know where to start. I did not choose Dr. Finley I was referred by my non birthing Obgyn. First off I had gestational diabetes and I had to point out to the Dr. And nurses that I needed to take my glucose test because apparently their records where wrong and had me about 2 weeks off. His bedside manor is horrible and anything you ask him seems to be not worth his time. I was induced 3 times in 5 days my daughter had to be forcefully vacuumed out and she still has scar from all the pulling my family was in the room and horrified at how rude he was mind you I had been in the hospital the final time for about 2 days and didn't see him till about 15 min my daughter was brought into this world. After my daughter was born he was so forceful with the placenta that had to have a D&C witch later had an infection which I went to my original Obgyn and she helped me after my birth. I never after my experience would rightfully give… this man a good reference. Nurses in the hospital even apologized profusely for how horrible my labor was (apparently I should have had a c sections cording to the nurses) please trust your gut and find someone with great bedside manor and heart for delivering.

Dr. Finley and his staff has always been very helpful, concerned and very caring!! Dr. Finley has delivered two of my babies already and about to deliver a third next month. He is always very busy, but has always makes time to be accurate, prompt and well prepared. He is a GREAT doctor!! His staff is very personable and caring. They always remember you, your needs and know just how to make things better however they can.

Initially the staff is friendly and the first ""interview" was pleasent. Meeting Dr Finley(at the second appt) was a different story. He has poor bedside manners and doesnt initiate any kind of conversation and if you have a question expect a short answer in a somewhat judgmental tone. If you are overweight expect that topic to be brought up at the sign of any issue. Im somewhat overweight and he was supprised that I can feel the baby kick since I am so "generous" as he put it. I told him the only issue I have been experiancing was being uncomfortable...he said it was due to my weight...I wanted to say OR maybe it is because I am 35weeks pregnant and my tummy is big and hard and I can't sleep how I want. Expect lectures about anything they deem unhealthy...not informational lectures but the kind that makes you feel like you are 5 and your not quite sure why your getting yelled at. This is my first baby and I was unaware that you can switch doctors... I wish I had.

I would not recommend this doctor as he did not recognize the obvious signs of preterm labor such as funneling of the uterus. When asked about leaking amniotic fluid he did not check the fluid for fetal proteins.

I've been seeing Dr Finely for a little of 15 years now and couldn't me more happy with him. Very professinal, but has the feel of family at the same time. He always greets me with a smile and takes the time to listen/address all of concerns. Just a kind person!!
