Dr. Lorene Yuchien Wu, MD

if only all doctors were like Dr, Wu.... I've been seeing her since 2011, and although I have ovarian cancer, I am convinced she is a huge part of the reason I am still alive. She treats the whole patient, and takes a personal interest in all of them. She spends as much time as needed with her patients, and truly listens to their concerns,

I was drawn to Dr. Wu's combination of eastern and western medical expertise, preferring to be treated by lifestyle and diet changes rather than drugs. My first appointment was 1 1/2 hours. I had to wait awhile, but when she is with you she is 100% focused upon you. She is extremely knowledgeable with nutrition and supplements, very thorough in her questions and recommendations, taking detailed notes by hand as we talked. (I was given a copy of these notes.) The room and atmosphere are not clinical or intimidating. We sat and talked. She taught me many things about my body, and honestly, I have from that hour forward changed how I eat and live, with excellent results. The waiting was about half an hour. But now that I know I will plan accordingly with reading material. I cannot say enough about this experience. She is very attentive, informative, interested and non-judgmental, she clearly cares. She was exactly what I was looking for.

Dr. Wu has my highest of recommendations! After a diagnosis of a chronic auto-immune condition, Dr. Wu has helped me to control my symptoms through non-invasive, non-chemical medicines. She helped me regain my quality of like and feel like myself again. Dr. Wu gives every patient her undivided attention and truly cares about each and every person. She goes out of her way to check in on her patients and makes herself available to them as often as needed. Dr. Wu takes the time to listen to every question, concern, and symptom that you have; she will work with you until you have found the best plan of action for you. I cannot thank Dr. Wu enough for everything she has done (and is doing) for me!

Dr Wu was very helpful. She takes time with each patient. She has an excellent ability to figure out how to help relieve symptoms and how to cure problems that are long standing. I was very impressed.

Dr. Lorene is an exceptional practitioner. She's very good at helping determine root causes, emotional factors that may be contributing to health conditions, and she utilizes the best of both traditional and complementary medicines. From a nutritional standpoint, she knows her stuff! Very good at help patients work within their means to follow a protocol schedule. She's awesome!

It took a hour and a half to see this doctor. She was not even sorry for being late. If you do not have time to wait, I recommend another doctor.
